25% of the purchasing price of the artwork will be borne by the federal government of Burgenland.
To support the artists of the area, Burgenland county initiated the “Kulturgutschein” (culture voucher) project. Everyone can buy vouchers to redeem artworks from listed local artists with a 25% discount. The county then subsidizes the artist with the “missing” 25%. This project is limited to a total amount of EUR 800.000,- and must be finalized by April 30th, 2021. The listed artist gets 75% of the purchasing price from the buyer and 25% of the county of Burgenland.
